Loudoun Valley Model UN was initially started by LVHS graduate Lauren Pak in 2012. Despite the team's lack of previous experience, the team has taken enormous strides in the past two years; accumulating awards ranging from verbal commendations to Best Delegates to Outstanding School Awards, from conferences such as Georgetown University NAIMUN, Chantilly High School CHMUN, Dominion High School DOMUN, Osbourn Park High School OPMUN, Karinthy School KarMUN, Langley High School VIMUNC, and Centreville High School CENTMUN. What makes this team unique, however, is the fervor all members exemplify to establish an international outlook, and a broader perspective of the world through successful diplomacy.
